Submit your question for Ron Perlman, Selma Blair or Guillermo del Toro. In this summer of superheroes, only one is red, has horns and likes kittens.
Yup, that's El Diablito (OK, I made that up), or Hellboy, who'll be fighting evil on July 11 when Hellboy II: The Golden Army hits theaters.
Hellboy may not be the most recognizable of superheroes, but as played by master chameleon Ron Perlman, he's genuinely one of the more unique. In the sequel he's joined once again by pyrokinetic girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair) and, perhaps most importantly, by superstar director Guillermo del Toro, whose star has risen quite a bit since he directed the first Hellboy in 2004.
Blair, Perlman and del Toro -- that's beauty, the beast and the, uh, beastmaster? -- will be interviewing each other for Moviefone's Unscripted series using your questions. So give the devil his due and submit a question for either one (or all three!) below, and be sure to include your first name and the city where you live. Then check back here on July 7 to see if your question made the cut. Good luck!

for Guillermo: what is it about monsters and horror that fascinates you the most? also, what's your favorite monster?

Hi Ron,
It's ridiculous how much I loved "Beauty and the Beast" with you and Linda Hamilton. Has there ever been talk of doing a TV movie?

For Ron:
Is there any pressure in trying to make your character live up to the comics?

For Selma;
Your character Liz Sherman has changed a great deal in appearance since the last installment, What are your thoughts on how appearance helps develop a character, and how much (if any) of your personal style ended up influencing Liz's new look?
Thank you

Hello Ron,
Recently, The Beauty and the Beast has become available on DVD. All I can say is, I know what i'm getting for Christmas.
It's amazing how well you "know" the characters that you're portraying. There's really no one else who can be Hellboy and portray him in a way that his personality really shines through from the comic books to the screen. I believe that Guillermo couldn't have made a better choice.
So, enough talk. Here's my question... You seem to enjoy hiding your face behind masks, and don't we all? Other than Hellboy, will you be staring in any other fantasy or sci-fi related films as inhuman characters?
Thanks a lot,
Autumn from Beaverton

For Ron:
Who would win in a fight? Hellboy or Vincent from "Beauty and the Beast"?

Guillermo,
Where exactly do you come up with all of your incredibly unique designs for monsters? I gotta tell you it's pretty amazing. Also Ron, you ROCK

What was it like working with Guillermo del Toro on this movie.

Just wanted to say the visual you bring to the screen are amazing. The creatures are amazing. Your movies rank up there with the visuals from the Cell and The Fall.

Guillermo,
Would you ever consider using a fan's idea for a movie? I had an idea for Hellboy and Liz to adopt a teenage girl that can control the element of Earth (rocks, the ground and tectonic plates.)

For Ron.
I admire a person like you who play a unusual charater like Hellboy, an anti hero.I love anti heroes because they aren't like the usual heroes. Sometimes they are boring...because they are very predictable.. And I want to ask to you if you would change something about him(Hellboy)? Which part of his personality doesn't coincide with yours?
I love you

How he was found, if he was ever experminted on, from before Broom found him, and just how Abe became a member of the B.P.R.D., and all that. This is for Guillermo: Let's make it a simple question. For HBII, how do you make $85 million look like $200 million onscreen? [I'd imagine having Doug Jones play multiple roles might have a little to do with that...]
anabel at 1:01AM on Jun 28th 2008
Guillermo,
Pan's Labyrinth was such an incredible film. With films like these, how do you create fantasy that can still speak to an audience on a very real and emotional level?

To Selma:
I'm a big fan of yours and I've loved all your roles from Cecile in Cruel Intentions to Vivian in Legally Blonde. My all time favorite role you've played is definitely Liz. What's the best part about playing her?

Three questions, one for each person:
Selma: In the first HELLBOY your character, Liz Sherman, was very downbeat and vulnerable, but in HELLBOY II she’s stronger and more confident. What was it like making the transition to the new Liz?
Ron: The character of Hellboy is funny and lovable, the kind of guy people are immediately comfortable with. How does it feel to revisit such a role four years after the first film?
Guillermo: After the success of PAN’S LABYRINTH, you were offered many lucrative projects, but you turned them all down to make HELLBOY II. It’s no secret you love Hellboy and his world. Tell us why you can’t get enough of the big guy, and what his story means to you.
