Actually, I've never seen that movie. I mean, why on earth as I, a single straight girl with class, would I want to sit and watch a bunch of ugly tramps dance around a bar? Thank gosh I have REAL taste in movies because if this is a "guilty pleasure" to you, then I'm sorry but you are a real SAD person with a SAD life.

Heather, I'd like to see a posted picture of you. Calling the Coyotes ugly is hysterical to me. You may not have enjoyed the movie, but the girls were far from ugly. I am a gay man and can say that. I can watch Young Frankenstein over and over...but there's notheing extremely guilty about that.
Bull Durham wasn't listed here at all....how can that be??

...it amazes me that people have to be so judgemental. The girls in Coyote Ugly are very pretty in a very ordinary way - which is one reason why I could get into the movie, also, because it did tell a "story". And to the "intellectual" who feels sorry for people watching this type of stuff (or smutt)...please look up "guilty pleasures" (it's two words, separate, but I am sure you can find them in any dictionary.

Why don't we all ( no, I don't mean get along ) I mean why don't we all just stick to the question. What is your guilty pleasure? Instead of judging everyone elses answers, just list a movie that you liked that didn't exactly become a huge hit at the box office.
My Answer: I actually enjoyed all those movies. Even though I did, for those of you who want to judge, keep an open mind. I can also appreciate a very well written and produced motion picture. All art doesn't have to be "brilliant". Fun, thrilling or interesting count too!

Heather--How can you judge the movie if you have not seen it?? Yes these girls dance on a bar but more of the story is a romance and a coming of age for a girl out on her own for the first time trying to make it in the city... It is not about ugly trashie girls with no class!! I adore this movie and do not have a sad life nor do I feel I am a sad sad person. Everyone has a different view on movies and that is what makes our country great,but just because you have the freedom of speech does not mean you have to spew off mean things about people you don't even know and someone with class would know that!

Don't know what's so guilty about The Day After Tomorrow. I watch it all the time, and still get a chill when the camera pans to the flock of birds flying above the city.
