Millions of jaws hit the floor on July 2, 2007 -- and it wasn't just because fanboys the world over were shocked and awed by Optimus Prime and Megatron's eye-popping showdown in 'Transformers.' Sure, the robots were cool, but hey, Optimus, could you move a little to the right? You're blocking our view of Megan Fox.

Ahead of Her Class

It's hard to tell by looking at the radiant smiling visage in this photo from Megan Fox's St. Lucie West Centennial high school yearbook, but she hated school with a passion. Girls despised her because she got along so well with boys (shocker!), and formal education held little allure for someone who'd known since age 14 that she was destined to be an actress. Luckily, the whole acting thing seems to have panned out.

'Drama'-tic Debut

Fox appeared in the 2001 straight-to-DVD Olsen twins' classic 'Holiday in the Sun' and played a wet-T-shirt-wearing extra in '03's 'Bad Boys III,' but her true big-screen bow came as Lindsay Lohan's high school rival in 2004's 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.' Though the two starlets didn't exactly hit it off on set, Fox has said that she and LiLo did bond over one thing: her ability to buy the underage Lohan cigarettes. Smokin'!

Steaming Up the Small Screen

Later that year, Fox scored a recurring role on the ABC sitcom 'Hope & Faith,' starring as Kelly Ripa's not-so-smart niece Sydney Shanowski in 36 episodes. The series was canceled in 2006, freeing her up to do a low-budget indie film entitled 'Transformers.'

Going Green

Also in 2004, Fox met former '90210' star Brian Austin Green on the set of 'Hope & Faith,' and they were engaged a year later. Their status -- engaged, dating or just friends? -- has been the subject of much tabloid speculation in the past year. And, judging by a recent interview in Entertainment Weekly, the couple is just as confused as the gossip rags: Fox admitted that her engagement to Green is off but they're still trying to figure out the nature of their relationship. Career 'Transformer'

Though Fox has publicly declared that she was awful in 2007's 'Transformers,' fans chose to ignore her critique and fall in love with her tomboyish mechanic Mikaela anyway. When a mini-skirt-clad Fox leans over the hood of Shia LaBeouf's car early in the film, you can actually see an international sex symbol being born before your eyes. Optimus Prime and his robotic brethren may have been the draw going in, but Fox was all people were talking about on their way out.

Lip-Smacking Good

Shocking absolutely no one, FHM named Fox their Sexiest Woman in the World 2008, and in October of that year she proved the honor was no fluke with a steamy photo shoot and cover for GQ. Yeah, Fox wasn't the only one licking her lips. Oh, and did we mention that she recently defended her title to be crowned FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World 2009, becoming the first woman since Jennifer Lopez to hold the esteemed honor two years running? Again, notice our complete and utter lack of surprise.

'Hex' Marks the Spot

When shots of Fox in costume as a prostitute from the comic Western 'Jonah Hex' leaked earlier this year, the two reactions were simply "Wow!" and "Wow, I didn't realize she was that skinny!" Fox has said that her usually 22-inch waist was cinched to 19 inches, which is basically inhuman. And somehow, she still looks amazing.

'Fallen' Angel

As one can imagine, Fox got a lot of attention (and magazine covers) earlier this summer when the eagerly anticipated sequel 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' blasted into theaters. In interviews, Fox once again emphasized that the movie belongs to the CGI robots and Bay-tastic explosions, but we're not going to lie: Our favorite parts were watching Fox scoot around on a motorcycle and leap off buildings in skimpy outfits. That Optimus happened to kick the crap out of Megatron was just gravy.

The Lady in Red

Fox wowed red carpet onlookers at the June 14 Berlin premiere of 'Transformers,' wearing a slinky red dress slit up to the waist that left basically nothing to the imagination. Or a lot to the imagination, depending on how you look at it.
