Terrible film- a film about fighting robots that contains a huge amount of sexual content. The story is convoluted and sparse, the acting is sub-par, the dialogue is ear bleedingly awful and the action sequences are too frantic and badly edited to be much fun. 3/10.

I thought the "Revenge of The Fallen" was Awesome also! Honestly I didn't see the first one until it came out on cable; because I didn't think that I would like it! But I have seen it more than several times! I couldn't wait till this one came out! Stood in line and the whole nine yards; it was freaking cool! I'm not a teenager either, but I'm taking my Mom to see it this week! Awesome movie!

I enjoy the movie it was a great to see what happen to the autobots if they win or they would lose to save hte huamans to protect them from getting hurt i was it enjoying the whole movie with my next door neighbor keep up the good work

As much as I hate to say it I side with the critics this time around. I loved the first movie and had great expectations of this film. I always love the movie the critics hate and hate they one they love. But TF2 sadly misses the mark. Robots come and go and you have idea who or what they do. Horrible character development. Contructicon is multiple places at the same time. Useless sub plots. Childish humor. Seems the movie was only made to sell the high quanity of toys. I think there was a ton of potential and Bay missed the boat big time.

i thought the movie was as good as i expected it to be. i didnt expect a great epic with great acting and dialogue i expected a fun summer blockbuster and that it was! it was funny and had some great action sequences. they were well edited and fun. the movie was fun and that was all it was meant to be. so i dont think it was that bad.************7/10

to say that transformers 2 was better than any part of the godfather saga is a smack in the face. were you watching the same movie that everyone else was watching? i am a huge fan of the transformers and i was ok with the first movie but mr. bay just totally bombed this one. character development was something severely lacking in this movie, there were characters that did not need to be here and megan fox with angelina jolie lips???? could she be any more unoriginal? i saw this movie on imax for 'free' and i still tried to get back money because i sure as heck can't get back my 2 1/2 hours of my life back. and to think that michael bay wanted the movie to be longer.......................thank our lucky stars for that!

Transformers 2 is an awful movie, the critics slammed it but I decided to give it a chance. Turns out they were spot on. The story was useless, and the Robots were so impressive in the first movie, here there aren't used correctly, Devastor didn't even fight he just sucked up some sand and nearly got his face blown off by a robot only about 8 feet tall..the dialouge was horrible, the adolescent humor was even worse. Megatron was totally useless here, there only about 3 good scenes from the whole movie...No story at all makes for a bad film....1/2 star out of 4 for Transformers Revenge.....

I thought this movie was one of the most egregious wastes of money (and particularly in a time when too many people are in need, worldwide) I have ever witnessed. I'm appalled and disheartened that people are flocking to see it -- it's an endless special-effects and violence fest, with a cheesy backstory and nothing to redeem it. Awful, just awful.

It was action packed from the get go...loud and fast moving...people even had some good laughs here and there. I think Fox's lips were a bit distracting though...geeze Louise...why can't these young starlets have the balls to NOT listen to some idiot talking them into injecting their lips to look like a duck bill from the side! Her lips came out as far as her nose! I hope they were just injections and not permanent implants becasue she was beautiful enough before the lip plumping( and I use the word plumping cautiously) Over inflated is more like it! Obviously the film is geared to the men with all Fox's sexy poses and orgasmic expression head shots...ah maybe they weren't supposed to be orgasmic but with those lips that might be all she can emote. Come to think of it she was rather one look most of the time with a tear thrown in for posterity! She should fire her agent fast if she wants a "real" acting career and not a short term thing.

I thought this movie was very poorly rated. I will not buy the DVD. I took my 10 and 8 year olds to see this film. I was horrified at the language, the brownie scene, ice cream truck and several other things in the film. I thought the first film was a little controversial but this was over the top. I have never been a "prude mom" but whem you walk in a store and go to the toy section and all you see are transformers toys, shirts, swimsuits, shoes etc. I think the producers, and writers need to take a good look at who they are marketing to.
How many 13 yr olds wear a size 8 shirt. This movie was bad.

To reply to the commenter above me... I work at a theater selling tickets and can tell you that Chrissy is more than justified in her opinion. At least 75% of the tickets that I sold Wednesday-Sunday were to families. More than half of those families had kids with them that were under the age of 12. Past "Summer Blockbuster" type movies, like Spiderman, didn't rely on over the top language, and sexual innuendo to fill the place of a bad storyline and one dimensional characters. You expect the explosions, and the other things, but at some point you cross the line. Just to show the difference between what PG-13 means in the 1st movie vs the sequel here's the official reasoning from the CARA, Transformers- "Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, brief sexual humor, and language." Transformers 2- "Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material." That's a big difference that most parents wouldn't expect.

The Critics suck. Transformers 2 is a cool movie. People shouldn't expect anything other than what it is, a sci-fi popcorn flick. It's summertime, the right time for the madness that
is the Transformers universe. This film is loud, it's fun, it's action packed. It's more than meets the eye. yeah some of the comic moments could have been better, but nothing to lose your mind over. I really think there is a connection with accusations of Skids and Mudflap being racial and all the critics dumping on this film. Most critics are PC minded so it's no surprise. These same critics didn't blast movies like White Chicks or the Ladies Man but they blast a movie about giant alien robots fighting each other. LAME. I'll see this film at least two more times, hoping to offend the lame PC minded critics.

This movie was the best movie i've seen since the Dark Knight no other movie compares. All the critics do is pan basically any movie that's not oscar material. Honestly this movie is everything a fan can expect, with more robot violence, great characters, and more laughs this time around. The film was amazing and all you people who didn't like it were on something.

i am a youth inister in dayton i thought the movie was awsome but i'm telling many of the parents i work with no to see it if there child is under 13 because the amount of sexual content and bad language is unacceptable. but as an adult i loved it. i just wish more of the bots would have been called out by name so that i could have known who they were.
