What's Your Favorite Animated Movies Franchise?

'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' (now in 3-D!) opens tonight at midnight, and though we can't imagine a ton of parents are going to take their kids to see it at that hour, there's little doubt that Scrat and his friends are going to end up bringing in a pile of money this holiday weekend.

With three films, 'Ice Age' officially constitutes an animated movie franchise -- and it's not the only one in town. Which one's your favorite?

'Ice Age' (20th Century Fox)
Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah and John Leguizamo provide the voice talent for a group of prehistoric animals as they romp throughout early history (never mind that many of these animals didn't actually live at the same time -- what's a little historical license among friends?).

'Shrek' (DreamWorks)
Shrek, voiced by Mike Myers (with Eddie Murphy as his donkey sidekick, Cameron Diaz as his princess, and Antonio Banderas as the swashbuckling Puss in Boots), just wants to be happy, but it's not easy being green. Or an ogre.

'Toy Story' (Pixar)
The first movie revolutionized the animated film industry, putting Pixar on the map. Not only will 'Toy Story' and 'Toy Story 2' be re-released this October in 3-D, but Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and the rest of the gang will be back in a brand-new adventure when 'Toy Story 3' -- also in 3-D -- comes out in 2010.
