End of Summer Movies Poll Results

Summer is supposed to be high time for car chases, explosions and intrepid heroes saving the universe from evildoers. Yet while 'Transformers' won the battle at the box office, voters in our annual end-of-summer poll picked an entirely different kind of beast as season's best.

Despite its lack of star power, robots and action (unless you count a little tasering), the R-rated comedy 'The Hangover' beat out big-budget, action-packed heavyweights like 'Transformers,' 'Harry Potter' and 'Star Trek' in the top category of movie most worth your cash, earning twice as many votes as the nearest finisher.

On the other end of the spectrum, two less popular comedies, 'Year One' and 'Land of the Lost,' fought it out for summer's worst. See all the results from our poll -- which racked up more than 600,000 votes -- below.
