Allow us to reveal the first official image of Caius, the most sadistic of the ancient Italian vampire coven. Caius is played by Jamie Campbell Bower, who knows a thing or two about bloody good times from his stint as Anthony Hope in 'Sweeney Todd,' and will also soon be seen as Gellert Grindelwald in the 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' movies (can he and R. Patz broker peace between warring fan armies?)
So what else do you need to know about Caius? This ominous vamp was born in a suburb of Cincinnati in 1988, is a Libra, and enjoys snowboarding, Fruit Roll-Ups and old re-runs of 'Blossom.' (Kidding!)
Caius was born around 1300 BC, though the date of his transformation and his special powers are unknown. But we do know that he really, really wants to kill Bella, Edward, and Alice. And we're not going to lie, he looks pretty good for a 3,300-year-old.

Anyway, Bower looks good, just like he did in Sweeney Todd. Can't wait to see him in the movie, maybe he'll make it better... :P

yeah, Aro can see every thought your mind has ever had & Marcus can see the bonds between people & Caius wants to kill them. i hav read all four books three times and just now i skimmed through new moon and it says that marcus touches aro's hand and aro says "thank you marcus that was very interesting."

Well, almost. U got the Aro part right. But Marcus is moody because he's apathetic about the relationships he can recognize. He's the one with the ability to tell relationships. Caius is the one without powers. (I had to double check the vampire index page at the end of breaking dawn cuz I get those two confused too.) :}

Aro-can read every thought that your mind ever had by simply making contact with your skin.
Marcus-a.k.a. Father Marcus. is the one in the stories that drew all of the vampires out of Volterra, making it probably the safest city in the world. from vampire attacks, at least. Marcus is the one who can see relationshiips.
Caius is just there with nothing special to offer but negative crap! i thought that he would look older... jamie played a great part as anthony in sweeney todd... but will he be able to pull off Caius???
