Break out the popcorn, 'Twilight' fans: We've got the new full-length trailer for 'New Moon' (opens Nov. 20), which just premiered at the VMAs but which you can watch online right here, right now -- over and over and over again, if you feel like it.In the trailer, you'll see Edward (Robert Pattinson) breaking Bella's heart; Bella (Kristen Stewart) becoming an "adrenaline junkie" to catch glimpses of Edward; Edward facing the Volturi royalty (one of whom is played by a grown-up-looking Dakota Fanning); Jacob (Taylor Lautner) saving Bella's life. The wolf pack makes an appearance, too. But brace yourself, Taylor Lautner fans -- in one of the four shots we see of Jacob, he is wearing a shirt. I know! Fortunately, he is shirtless in the other three. And for those of you on Team Edward, have no fear ... he does some chest-baring of his own.

First I saw the movie Twilight, loved it. Then I went to my Book Store Borders and bought the whole Series, I could not put them down, It is the greatest series I ever read and I am hoping that Mrs Myers will write a book, like a reunion for the Cullens and Family. I am 62 years old, but I still loved the Cullens and Bellas Family and to see what was going to happen day after day, I reaallly wish there was more.
Cannot wait to see on Nov 20 New Moon also I will get the dvds too, so I can look at them over and over.

I didn't care for the first movie. It felt rushed or something. I'm hoping that this one is better. I absolutely loved the books. I too could not put them down. Kind of made me look at my wonderful husband and roll my eyes...lol I'm 42 and in love with a fictional vampire...lol

I agree with Maureen, I think these books capture beautifully what real love feels like. I think they are ageless, the characters are totally believable and they are my favorite novels too. I am 49 years old..

Well.. If you'd like some.. "more" of the Cullens.. go to fanfiction.com.. and.. stepheniemeyer.com stephenie has written some outtakes and of course.. the beloved.. Midnight Sun is on there as well.. and then.. on fanfiction.com you can read to your hearts content stories ranging from .. bella gets sick.. to .. edward is a human... it's incredibly entertaining..

I am a middle-aged, heterosexual male and couldn't help but notice the exclusively female and predominantly youthful make-up of responders. My sister-in-law turned me on to these books and I literally read the first four novels in three days! Despite the fact that these might conceivably be catergorized as "chick-lit" books, they are still fundamentally GREAT reads and I'm left wondering if there are any other "traditional" males (i.e: NON- metrosexual, guy-liner wearing, cross-dressing, or light-in-the-loafers types) who have found these books as EXHAUSTIVELY entertaining as I did.

i think this was awesome!!
but i have one thing to say about this movie. the girl who plays Jane (Dakota Fanning), to me i just think she was the wrong actor. she looks way too young, like she's 14 years old in the movie. i just think she was the wrong person for the part.
What do you think?
Michelle at 7:42AM on Sep 14th 2009
Actually, in the book Dakota's character, Jane, is suppose to be young and appear 'child-like'.. so i think she was an awesome choice.I think Dakota Fanning has grown up quite a bit in the last couple of years. I've seen her in another more 'grown up' role lately and she did awesome
Mollie at 8:03AM on Sep 14th 2009
I think it will be OK, Dakota is a good actress and Jane and Alec were very young teens.
Rachel at 8:54AM on Sep 14th 2009
I think Dakota is perfect for the part. Jane is supposed to be young. She was burned at the stake as a child because she was suspected of being a witch.
Kat (Also!) at 8:18AM on Sep 14th 2009
I think Dakota will do an awesome job, because she is very talented, but having read all the books over and over (and over), it does nat say that she was young, or that she WAS a child... it implies she is older, but with a small childlike frame, and a baby face... I pictured someone different, but really, who else could do it. I can't come up with anyone who would have been "perfect" I guess. Maybe the woman who plays "M" on James Bond, but like 30 years ago!

Only thing is in the books , Jane is suppose to look like a child . That is a reason I think they made her look young, she is descriped like a child .
I love the movie, and Cant wait to see it too.

Well in the book New Moon Jane is suppose to look
very young, child like, so i think Dakota is perfect for the role... Funny thing when i read
the book last year, thats who i pictured..lol..
Amy at 12:22PM on Sep 14th 2009
According to Stephenie Meyer, Jane and her twin, Alec, were changed when they were only 12 years old. So Dakota Fanning is the right age. :)
Elizabeth at 12:30PM on Sep 14th 2009
i agree... in the book, which, I have just re-read for the third time in a month, appears child-like. She was to be very youthful. I feel that Dakota would be able to pull it off. Give her some credit!
Steph T at 1:37PM on Sep 14th 2009
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dakota Fanning for this role, she's an extradinary actress that actually asked to be in the movie because she loved Twilight so much. This series has had such a tremendous impact on women of all ages. I say, wait til you watch the movie and then decide... BTW if you read the books, the twins ARE young.
Julianne at 11:06PM on Sep 14th 2009
If you read "New Moon", that's exactly what they're going for. The character she is playing looks young, and that was is so disturbing. She's one of the most dangerous vampires but doesn't look like it. I think its perfect!

yeah well shes suppose to be child like and verry small the only thing is that shes suppose to have short brown hair and look boyish except for her beauty exposes shes a girl!
sooo.. i think they should just change her hair but i think she does an absolutley awesome job and i think she fits the part perfectly!.:)
