Liam Neeson as a Michigan sheriff whose run for state senate is jeopardized when his daughter begins to date the son of a psychologically disturbed woman (Connolly) with whom the sheriff has been having an affair. Harris' real-life wife Madigan will also play his on-screen wife.

Tia Carrere is hitting the waves to play 1960s Hawaiian surfing legend Rell Sunn, aka the Queen of Mahaka, in the biopic
'Wave Dancer.' In addition to proving that women could ride the big waves just as well as men, Sunn founded a surf contest for children to combat juvenile delinquency and fought breast cancer for 15 years, before dying in 1998.

'Silent Hill' is getting ready to make some noise. Screenwriter
Roger Avary has signed on to pen a sequel to the
