Call it a guilty pleasure, but we love us some hot dance moves. And with the 'Fame' movie remake in theaters, we can't help but think of our favorite movie dancing moments. From the swingin' days of Astaire to New York City's hip-shakin' little ones, we take a look back at our 10 favorite dance scenes of all time. Read on and then let us know what dance scenes get you moving.
'Mad Hot Ballroom' (2005)
Who needs a fictionalized rags-to-riches fable when the real thing is just as compelling? These hard-luck tykes look like pros as they swing, merengue and tango their way to the city championship. And the trophy they win is MUCH bigger than Shawn Johnson's.

'Save the Last Dance' (2001)
Julia Stiles plays a fallen ballerina who learns hip-hop from Sean Patrick Thomas and rediscovers her love of dance. It's sort of like her sexy, drunken table dance in '10 Things I Hate About You,' except in a club and with a smokin'-hot partner.

'Dance With Me' (1998)
Free-spirited Chayanne tries to teach Vanessa Williams how to "let the music free your soul." Hmm, we thought music was supposed to heal your soul ... or make you lose control ... Well, apparently music can do lots of things, including turn the heat waaay up at this Latin dance club.

'Scent of a Woman' (1992)
Al Pacino may be blind, but he's no fool. The lovely Gabrielle Anwar is putty in his hands as he romances her with his smooth tango skillz -- and amazingly, he gets through the entire thing without one utterance of "Hoo-ah!" (He's probably thinking it, though.)

'Strictly Ballroom' (1992)
Poor Scott (Paul Mercurio) just wants to dance his own steps at the Pan Pacific Grand Prix. Good thing he hooked up with clumsy newbie Fran (Tara Morice), who turns out to be a) not so clumsy and b) pretty hot without her glasses on.

'Swing Time' (1936)It's nearly impossible to pick one scene from Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' many films; but we'll go with this one, in which would-be bridegroom Astaire gets cold feet and falls instead for his sassy dance instructor. Looks like his feet aren't quite so cold anymore.

'Pulp Fiction' (1994)
Tweaking John Travolta's 'Saturday Night Fever' role with this kitschy dance contest scene, Travolta and Uma Thurman taught moviegoers a lesson: Fancy hipster footwork is all fun and games until someone OD's on heroin and has to get an injection of adrenaline to the heart.

'Saturday Night Fever' (1977)
It's been a while since John Travolta and Karen Gorney's white polyester duds and bouffant hair were considered über-hip. Still, there's no denying this scene's deliciousness as an all-time dance classic. Long live disco!

'Singin' in the Rain' (1952)
Dance legend Gene Kelly meets his match in Cyd Charisse, who pretty much invented the phrase "legs that wouldn't quit." Their ethereal interaction is enough to make you hit the pillow and hope for a sexy dream sequence of your own.

'Dirty Dancing' (1987)
Nobody puts Baby in a corner. Admit it, you've already seen this perfect, climactic dance scene with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey a hundred times, so you don't even need to watch the clip. Just start humming '(I've Had) the Time of My Life,' and your memory will fill in the rest.

Oh, dear! The runaway bride groom and the sassy dance teacher were Astaire and Rogers in "Swing Time;" the song was "Pick Yourself Up," written by Jerome Kern.
The video shown was "Night and Day" from "The Gay Divorcee," written by Cole Porter. Why not show it with the original musical arrangement from the film rather than mismatching it with the Ray Coniff arrangement, which makes no sense?
Astaire and Rogers are not to be confused with "Dancing with the Stars!"

Loved Pacino in the dance scene of Scent of a Woman but I also loved Julia Roberts/Dennis Quaid in their dance scene in Something to Talk About and Sandra Bullock/ Harry Connick, Jr. in Hope Floats. Some sexey scenes! Of course I love the old classics like Rogers/Astaire too.
