New York Documentary | 'Home' | Watch Online

It's the city so nice they named it twice. New York has long been a cultural and financial mecca, the melting pot of the world. The documentary 'Home' follows one aspirant to NYC, a young Irishman looking to start a new life in what many still consider the world's greatest city.

The movie captures the true essence of contemporary NYC -- and how immigrants made the city what it is -- by combining the experiences of everyday folk alongside commentary from celebrity residents like natives Woody Allen and Rosie Perez, and famous transplants Liam Neeson and Frank and Malachy McCourt, who give their take on the City That Never Sleeps.

The film also movingly muses on what the concept of "home" really means and traces the influxes of population that have flooded the island of Manhattan since its early days -- Watch 'Home' for free on SnagFilms
