We have the first glimpse of post-'American Idol' Adam Lambert with the online premiere of his new video, "Time for Miracles," the ballad from Roland Emmerich's end-of-the-world movie '2012.'It is the first video Lambert has released since finishing runner-up on last season's 'American Idol.' In the tradition of Lambert's over-the-top, glam-era persona, 'Time for Miracles' is an emotional ballad for a disaster epic. With his trademark black hair perfectly coiffed, Lambert walks through wasteland wreckage looking wistful, wearing a sullen-looking scarf. Explosions go off in the background. It also has scenes from '2012,' which stars John Cusack and Amanda Peet, and hits theaters Nov. 13. The song has been a big hit on iTunes and Amazon (where it reached #1).
Music and images from Lambert's new record 'For Your Entertainment' have streamed out in recent weeks, including the new CD's cover art. It looks like early-to-mid '80s Boy George, T. Rex, or Poison, with the makeup-wearing, androgynous Lambert's face. Thirty-second song clips from the CD have also hit the Web, including 'Pick U Up,' written by Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, and 'Strut,' penned by 'Idol's' Kara DioGuardi.

Stunning! What a great choice for both Adam and the producers of 2012. If I wasn't certain about going to see the movie I will definitely be seeing it now. In fact I have Midnight tickets for the first night.

Love Adam's voice. Adam was a great choice to do this song and it is just beautiful. Always remarkable to watch him perform and I think the video is very well done!! I will go see it. Can't wait till Adam's whole CD is released on Nov 23rd!

The strength and range of Adam's voice is a perfect match for this song! His dramatic performances are always mesmerizing and his spectacular voice will certainly be a major reason I go to see this movie!

I could listen to and of course watch Adam and Time For Miracles all day. What a great talent , Unique Voice and Charisma, Great Dresser. I am looking forward to the AMA Music Awards with his production Number !
