This is a match made in heaven. Two of the most beautiful stars in the world, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, may be teaming up for the first time to co-star in 'The Tourist,' a thriller that has gone through several permutations since it was announced last year, Variety reports.
The film centers on an Interpol agent (Jolie) who draws an American tourist (Depp) into a web of intrigue as she tracks down a criminal who was once her ex-lover.
The film, a remake of the 2005 French thriller 'Anthony Zimmer,' originally was to be directed by Bharat Nalluri with Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron in the leads. Sam Worthington replaced Cruise and then Jolie took over the female role from Theron. Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck then took the directing reins but left over creative differences, as did Worthington.
According to Variety, now that Depp and Jolie are a possibility, several directors, including Alfonso Cuaron, are interested in the project.
'Tourist' has a February production date with a 2011 release through Sony.

angelinas best show was in "Girl Interrupted" i can't recall anything she's done since that's been as good. that's because she really has issues and that's why she was so good for that role. but her persona and her lack of focus overwhelm her actual skill. great female performances i can think of: Theron in Monster, Cotillard in la vie en rose. those are the greater actresses. she's better than Jen, but she's sloppy compared to the two actresses i listed above. except in girl interrupted. that was awesome. oh and depps GF has something jolie can never have: she's french. if depp cheats with that $&*@ I'll curse him till the day he dies. and i love movies depp is in--but his acting is not the best. he's just really creative in brilliant, but he doesn't execute dilligently enough to like, the level of joaqin phoenix. jolie and pitt are better showmen than actors.

Being a horndog doesn't mean he doesn't set standards on the women he would bed. However, there are no tabloid stories on Johnny being a whore like Angelina. He is devoted to his lady and children, unlike Angelina who is a nutjob. I'm always amazed at how these critics proclaim her to be such a great actress. She is overrated and attention starved. What movies has she ever appeared side by side with other beautiful actresses? None. I'd say Ms Holie is a bit afraid of sharing the screen with other good looking but talented actresses

Krystal, When a man cheats it is not about his wife. It is about how HE responds to the challenges that naturally come up in all relationships. You do not effectively address problems in a marriage by turning outside to the relationship. He obviously did not know that.

Johnny, as one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest fan, you will only drag down your image by being seen with her. You are such a kind and warm and wonderful father...you don't really want people to think anything less than that... To this point, people have nothing bad they can say about you, please keep it that way... If you need a co, take on someone worth while, like Jen Anniston.

Johnny Depp loves his family. He's grouped together the first two initials in his families names to name a ship they own. He's content and has no needs. Therefore no need to stray. Angelina is not his type. She's too actively jaunting around the world with projects, etc. Plus 6 kids. It's not like she's single with no children. Johnny is strong in his conviction to Vanessa and his children. The only thing that will come out of this venture is an awesome movie with some great actors.

Johnny is my favorite actor. His personality just shines in all of his movies. Angelina is also a great actress. I cannot see nothing but good coming out of a movie with these two. Johnny is a committed family man and loves his family dearly. Angela has her own life and is not Johnny's type.
