The Week In Film Industry Tweets

Here are some of the more interesting Tweets by film industry insiders this week.

Otherworldly film director David Lynch -- bless his eccentric soul -- Tweeted on Nov. 6: "Some try to make use of the supernatural power of creation by contacting the spirit world through a medium or invoking spirits." Lynch added: "There may be spirits who are more powerful than man, but invoking them or behaving as a medium for them is not a practice to be encouraged."

On a lighter note: Director Brett Ratner, showing a sense of humor, has some interesting images on his Tumblr Blog. Eli Roth, once an extra in Barbra Streisand's The Mirror Has Two Faces, Tweeted of a photo of his craft in Movieline: "Want to see some terrible 90s hair/earring combo? Look no further." And actor Jeff Bridges posted some of his personal photos from 'Iron Man' online.

Michael Moore, reacting to the Fort Hood shootings, Tweeted via TwitterBerry: "After a shooting like this it's very important that no one jump to conclusions and take out any revenge against doctors or psychiatrists."

Actress Elizabeth Banks attended the Breeder's Cup and Tweeted: "Saw @robcordry at the Breeder's Cup today. I didn't win. He had a winning tie."

Earlier this month, Steven Spielberg and Will Smith announced a collaboration on the remake of Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy." Latino Review, citing a source, recently declared the project dead. To this, the influential indie film blog GordonandtheWhale tweets: "THANK YOU BABY JESUS!"

That's this week in film industry Tweets.
