Oh, boy. Sharon Stone, a (quite literally) firm believer in the "any publicity is good publicity" dictum, is working it topless on the cover of Paris Match this month. And, of course, the blogosphere is all over it, with "Sharon Stone Paris Match" rising to the top of the Google search list today. For those of you highbrow types, you can read the actual Paris Match article here ... in French. And we'll be sure to tell all your friends you only have that Playboy subscription for the articles. The rest of you can see the NSFW photos at the Huntington Post.
What's so fascinating about the cover isn't that Sharon Stone looks great, but that she looks SO great at 51. And, um, has stuck steadfast to her claim not to have had any plastic surgery. Uh-huh. As much as we'd love to think that yoga, lots of green vegetables and non-stop tricep lifts result in a rack that defies gravity after more than half a century, well, we're a little skeptical. We're also very curious to see the painting of a withered crone she must be keeping under lock and key in her attic.
While what Stone does to her body is, of course, her own business -- and we're very impressed with the results in any case -- stars refusing to 'fess up to getting a little surgical assistance is starting to get old, pun intended. Demi Moore has also denied going under the knife, even though the London Telegraph reports that her plastic surgeon is Dr. Brian Novack. When actresses claim that they stop the clock by simply eating right and exercising, it's enough to make mere mortals want to throw in the towel and eat cookie dough in a muumuu on the sofa until the sweet release of death overtakes them.
But that doesn't mean we're not fascinated by Stone's topless cover, if only to see what the combination of Photoshop, (alleged) surgeries, hard work and, of course, good genes can do when they come together in one former model/blond bombshell. And don't mind us if we also hit sites like Awful Plastic Surgery to get a less varnished take on whether Stone is mostly real or man-made at this point.

Stone's also been wet and naked (in 'Sliver', in which she also pleasured herself in the bathtub), pointlessly naked (dropping trou in the comedy 'The Muse'), topless in a Western (while making out with Russell Crowe in 'The Quick and the Dead'), naked with Sly Stallone (in 'The Specialist'), semi-nude with weaponry (in 'Year of the Gun'), nude with lots of other people (in the orgy scene in 'Basic Instinct 2'), nude in Spanish (the 1989 Spanish film 'Blood and Sand'), nude in and out of the shower ('Intersection,' 'Action Jackson') and nude changing clothes ('Scissors'). She's been memorably nude (that 'Basic Instinct' scene) and gratuitously so ('Basic Instinct 2'). We have to give her credit -- at least she's consistent.
All that skin may distract some people from the fact she can be a really good actress (remember 'Casino'?). But maybe those heady character roles that will show off her acting chops can wait until she can no longer fight the relentless hands of time. Until then, Sharon, you go ahead and work your groove thing. All we ask is that you consider keeping your clothes on after, say, 60. We really, really don't need to see your topless AARP magazine cover.

I'm 56 and I WISH I looked that good. Sharon might be crazy, but you can't deny she looks terrific at 51!
Jom at 3:17AM on Nov 18th 2009
Yes she looks good, but come on, those globes have been altered by a doctor, perfectly round and centered.

What some people fail to realize is that your body holds up wayyyyy better than the average woman who has had children. She has children but has never given birth to anyone so team that with good genes and she could very well still be H.O.T !!!! Good for her no matter. Take it from someone who is much younger and who has a body that has definately been scarred by childbirth even though I wouldn't take it back for anything.

a lot of people look good...that doesn't mean you should get naked in front of whoever...SHE IS A PIG!
Dale at 12:52AM on Nov 18th 2009
HEY!!!! That's my cousin, you're talkin' about, Madame PRUDE!!!!
If your god was as shameful of the human body as you are, we wouldn't be born naked, would we??
There's not a DAMN thing wrong with showing off your beautiful body!!!!

THE OLD HAG IS TRYING TO LOOK YOUTHFUL. MAYBE IN HER PRIME BUT SHE WAYYYYYYYY PAST THAT. I WOULD NOT PAY TO SEE HER EVEN IN A PORNO. SHE IS OLD NEWS JUST LIKE HER
chris at 9:14PM on Nov 17th 2009
What are you in your 20's and 30's, she isn't an old hag, she is gorgeous, she could get any man, women look hot when they get older and that's when they are in their prime and know how to use it, she is a cougar, and she can get any young man,
Age is just a number, stop calling her old, because some day you will get old and eat your words, we all do you know.

Are you a woman who's afraid she can't compete, or are you a man who can't get laid? Either way, the hostility is coming through loud and clear, my dear. Get some therapy so you can feel better about things.

I've got to admit that Sharon Stone looks pretty good for a 51 year old. Good for her that magazines still want to feature her on their covers.
Robyn at 9:20PM on Nov 17th 2009
Yes, she did have work done. She is from PA and an acquaintance of mine dated her cousin. He spoke of a family dinner he attended where Sharon came home from California shortly after she "made it big" showing of her new "purchase"; two new breasts. Now this was back in the 80's so goodness knows if she has had any "work" done since.
Dee at 9:21PM on Nov 17th 2009
She does look a bit old there but I think if she got just a little bit of work done on those wrinkles, she would be a very gorgeous woman. I love her work though..
Dale at 12:59AM on Nov 18th 2009
I didn't see any wrinkles! Are we just a TAD jealous, Dee? C'mon, fess up!!
Jay sim at 9:31PM on Nov 17th 2009
hot
Dee at 9:24PM on Nov 17th 2009
She also looks very very thin...I know she had some health issues too. I think she needs to keep her clothes on..
jbjg24m at 9:26PM on Nov 17th 2009
i wouldn't turn her down !
Dee at 9:35PM on Nov 17th 2009
Jerry, you are an idiot!! If you are indeed rich why do you feel that you need to advertise that...I think perhaps y ou are sending the wrong message and you will get the wrong response too.
Chris at 10:06PM on Nov 17th 2009
Don't pay attention to those messages Dee, they are sent as spam from Africa, Lol.
Also I hope my nuts hold up as well as Sharon's rack when I get to her age. They're gorgeous.
Denny at 9:32PM on Nov 17th 2009
I think she looks good for any age. I think that she probably hasn't had any "work" done though. If she wasn't suffering from the gravity factor it's doubtful that all the photos showing her breasts are either supported from underneath by the bustier or with her arms held high. Heck you raise Grandma Moses arms that high and it would lift them off her waist. Still though, she looks really good.
Dee at 9:31PM on Nov 17th 2009
I bet you wouldn't!
mojo at 9:42PM on Nov 17th 2009
sharon stone still is a good looking woman who has stretched the crossing of her legs to michael douglas. she loves the hollywood experience and will do what ever is necessary to keep her name in the rag section of newspapers all over the world
