Claire Danes Gives Fans a Treat With See-Through Dress at 'Orson Welles' Premiere (NSFW!)

Claire Danes wears a see-through dress at the Me and Orson Welles premiere

Claire Danes has appeared in a number of high profile roles over her career, but last night she appeared in something sure to be even more buzzed about: a see-through dress.

As reported at The Huffington Post, Danes, who was on the red carpet for the London premiere of her new film 'Me & Orson Welles,' wore a sleek, diaphanous black dress that did not appear to have the level of support one would expect for a possible Best Supporting Actress candidate. Still, the always luminous Danes didn't lose her cool despite the unintended effects of the cool London evening, smiling for the cameras and fans who gathered for the event.

We're guessing that the dress didn't seem quite so transparent to Danes before it got under the bright lights of the red carpet, but she held up like a trouper while promoting her role as Sonja Jones, a production assistant to legendary director Orson Welles who becomes romantically involved with a precious actor (Zac Efron) during a Welles-helmed stage production. The film, which is being released in the U.S. on Nov. 25 after some time on the festival circuit, has gotten generally positive reviews.

Whether Claire's dress does the same, however, remains to be seen.
