Smoke Gets in Dakota Fanning's Eyes on 'Jay Leno' (VIDEO)

We're surprised nobody alerted the fire department during last night's 'The Jay Leno Show' when 'New Moon' star Dakota Fanning guested, because it looked like the show was about to become part of a four-alarm blaze.

While Leno gave Fanning a pop quiz on her 'Twilight' knowledge in order to earn a plug for her new movie, an inordinate amount of prop smoke billowed on stage, but, thankfully, asphyxiation was averted.
