What's Hot on Inside TV: Lambert Spices Up AMAs, Oprah's Next Move, Cox Puts 'Cougar Town' on Hold

Missed all the latest small-screen news? Here's what's got us buzzing over at Inside TV.

-- The biggest divas in the world -- Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga -- performed at the American Music Awards Sunday night, but all anyone is talking about today is Adam Lambert's performance of his first single, 'For Your Entertainment.' Was the racy number, which closed out the show and included simulated oral sex and a male-male kiss, too much for TV? Watch the video and tell us if you were entertained or scandalized.

-- If you're looking for the spiritual, uplifting side of this year's AMAs, check out the video of Whitney Houston's emotional comeback performance.

-- Since her announcement that she'll be ending her talk show in 2011, we've wondered what Oprah Winfrey will do next. First up: She's developing a sexy hour-long series for HBO. The SoCal-set series will mark a departure from Oprah's patented feel-good fare: It'll focus on sun, sand, suburbs, and (gasp!) steamy sadomasochistic sex.

-- Courteney Cox is temporarily shutting down production on her new ABC series 'Cougar Town' for what's being described only as "a private family matter." Cox recently mentioned she and hubby David Arquette are considering expanding their family, so many are speculating that's the reason for the downtime.

-- What's Lou Dobbs' next gig? How about running for office? Hey, it worked for Al Franken. Dobbs, who abruptly quit his job at CNN, is reportedly now "eyeing a career in politics."

-- Who knew that Joseph Gordon-Levitt could sing and dance? On this week's 'Saturday Night Live,' the '(500) Days of Summer' star wow'd with his rendition of 'Make 'em Laugh,' the great song and dance number from 'Singin' in the Rain.'

-- Not all of us are losing our jobs to machines: Brian Austin Green can thank the existence of cyborgs for a chunk of his post- 'Beverly Hills, 90210' employment: On the now-canceled 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,' he was dead-set on destroying all man-machine hybrids, now he plays one on 'Smallville!' Green will return as the evil cyborg Metallo sometime this spring.

-- Aww, we missed these guys. 'Curb Your Enthusiasm's' season finale gave us the long-awaited reunion of the 'Seinfeld' cast, who, naturally, tried to redeem themselves for that disappointing 'Seinfeld' finale 11 years ago. Catch a clip here.

-- Keeping with its "ripped from the headline" approach, 'Law & Order' is reportedly considering incorporating elements of the September 11 terrorist trials into the show, even if the trials won't start for another two years. The long-running NBC series announced earlier this month that it's also doing an episode based on the David Letterman scandal.

-- Worn out your DVD of Paul Blart: Mall Cop? TLC is prepping a new reality series, 'Mall Cops: Mall of America,' following the men and women who work security at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., the largest mall in North America.
