What's Hot on Inside TV: Regis Ties up Kimmel, 'Glee' Hiatus

Too stuffed with turkey to make it out of the house to a theater? TV time! AOL TV keys you in to the latest television news, finds and rumors.

-- Vampires are such dolls! That's never been truer now that DC Unlimited is set to release a series of nearly 7-inch 'True Blood' replica busts and Tonner is fashioning 'Twilight' dolls for nearly $140 each.

-- No wonder Regis Philbin is taking a break from his morning show. Looks like he has his eye on late night, taking over Jimmy Kimmel's show in a staged bit where Reg pulls some parking lot hilarity while Kimmel is shown bound and gagged backstage.

-- 'Glee' fans will be anything but joyful to learn that the show will be on hiatus from Dec. 9 through Apr. 13 to make room for the Fox beast that is 'American Idol.'

-- Though Charles Barkley was booked on 'The Jay Leno Show' to boast of his weight loss, Leno can't help noticing the former b-ball player still has a ways to go. Check out the video here.

-- After Adam Lambert's post 'Good Morning America' appearance was canceled, 'The Early Show' wasted no time snagging the singer to discuss his x-rated AMA antics. During the interview, Lambert says he's completely surprised by the controversy.

-- Though Oprah's best friend Gayle King's name has been thrown around as a possible Winfrey replacement, the BFF denies the rumors. King says she has not "been in talks with CBS about taking over that 4PM time slot." Another time slot perhaps? Remains to be seen.

-- MTV has yet to air one episode of its new reality show 'Jersey Shore,' and already Italian-American groups are up in arms. No doubt they object to the term "Guido." But Mtv is standing firm, defending their new baby, saying their participants are proud of their ethnicity.

-- Last week's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' finale was the most-watched in five seasons, drawing 1.3 million during the initial airing and 2 million after repeats. These numbers were no doubt helped by the much-anticipated 'Seinfeld' reunion show-within-a-show.

-- 'Greek' geeks have something to look forward to. Now that Casey and Cappie have patched things up, Cappie brings his girl home to meet his hippie parents. Cappie's mother will be played by former 'Caroline in the City' star Lea Thompson.
