Angelina Jolie is taking a break from Oscar bait to nourish her butt-kicking babe side in the brand new trailer for the spy thriller 'Salt.'

And, not that we didn't love 'The Changeling' (OK, maybe we didn't), but we couldn't be happier to see Angie flaunting the athleticism and general penchant for badassery she's honed in such films as 'Tomb Raider,' 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' and 'Wanted.' Here she plays a CIA operative forced to prove her innocence when she's fingered as a Russian double agent aiming to assassinate the U.S. president. Watch the trailer after the jump.

Jake Gyllenhaal putting on muscles appears to finally have been worth it.

Disney's first trailer for 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' hit the Web Monday, showing a glimpse into the newest mega-project from Jerry Bruckheimer and his flashy toys. Pictures famously circulated last year of the normally medium-build Gyllenhaal showing off layers of extra muscle for the role.

Fox has finally found a worthy avatar for its 'Avatar.'

The anticipation and buzz for James Cameron's 'Avatar' has been growing for years, so when the first trailer hit screens in August you'd think that fans would have gone wild with glee. Though at the time it quickly became the most downloaded trailer at Apple.com, where it triggered a record 4 million streams its first day, it left much to be desired in the way of storytelling -- and fans gave it mixed reviews.

If the new trailer is any indication, Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood are poised to score Oscar gold with 'Invictus,' a bold new drama about how in 1995 Nelson Mandela (Freeman) and a young white rugby star (Damon) used the sport to overcome apartheid by uniting South Africa behind one common goal: winning the rugby World Cup.

Alert for Matt Damon fans: Can't wait for the next Damon outing as a two-fisted action hero? Dying for the talented actor (he's getting Oscar buzz for he superb turn in Steven Soderbergh's 'The Informant!') to take on another Jason Bourne-type character? Your wait is almost over.

Universal has just released the first trailer for 'Green Zone,' which is set for a March 12, 2010, release and reteams him with 'The Bourne Supremacy' and 'The Bourne Ultimatum' director Paul Greengrass, and it looks -- for lack of a better term -- kick-ass.

The man known for reducing readers to weeping messes with his unapologetically romantic novels -- which are then adapted into movies, which in turn reduce moviegoers into weeping messes (see 'The Notebook' and 'Message in a Bottle' for examples) -- seems to have done it again with 'Dear John.' Oh Paramount, why must you taunt us so? Earlier this summer, the studio released the creepy-as-hell teaser trailer for the Martin Scorsese thriller 'Shutter Island,' quickly piquing moviegoers' interest and igniting Oscar buzz.

But shortly thereafter, Paramount announced that the movie -- which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a U.S. Marshal forced to face his own demons while investigating the mysterious disappearance of a woman from a remote Massachusetts mental hospital for the criminally insane in 1954 -- would bow on Feb. 19, 2010, rather than its original October 2009 date. The move took 'Shutter Island' out of what is so far a wide-open Oscar race and made movie fans wonder whether the film was up to snuff.

Judging by the recently debuted, equally as spine-tingling second trailer, we were dead wrong to doubt the infallibility of the Scorsese-DiCaprio duo. From the looks of it, 'Island' is part crime thriller, part supernatural horror flick and 100% awesome. Watch the new video below, then tell us what you think. Will you see the movie in February?
