The face of Edward is thus forever ruined *sniffle*; they will ruin this movie in casting alone (Kristen Stewart's great as Bella, though).

Um...shouldn't the way the characters look be based on the author and not us?
I mean since the series is good best leave casting to the person responsible...

Mike- Stephenie didn't cast these people, and they look very little like the characters described in the books. Edwards hair is completely the wrong colour, and the actress playing Rosalie, while still gorgeous, doesn't have the correct colouring for a blonde.
For me, personally, Robert's eyebrows are far too bushy to be attractive, and he always looks intoxicated with the dark circles under his eyes (yeah, the vampires in the books are supposed to have dark circles, but not stoner-like; plus, Robert's are natural to him- check out the Harry Potter premier pictures on IMDB). Pattinson is very attractive, but there were much better candidates for Edward. Stephenie Meyer can't voice anything but approval; it would look bad for the movie if she did even if she doesn't like them (like I said, no one knows if she does or doesn't). I think that authors should get a voice in casting.

Courtney- Though your right about Stephenie not being able to choose the cast or most importantly "Edward" she has said many times over that Robert IS EDWARD. She explained her excitement with him a Kirsten for the main characters and said that even though people had hopes for other men to play Edward she totally agreed with the casting that Summit did.

Oh, the excitement. I agree when someone said Rob was perfect to play Edward! I couldn't have imagined anyone better! And the same goes for Kristen as Bella. I thought they would mess it up with characters but they pretty much go it perfect. :) Gorgeous cast members, for sure! Yay! :P

Oh, and BY THE WAYY for the people who think "ZOMG THEYYY DIDN'T GET THE SAME EXACT HAIR COLOUR OMGG." Not everything is going to match perfectly, god forbid. Nobody is going to match the image exactly in Stephenie Meyers head! Get over it.

I CANT WAIT TILL THE MOVIE COMES OUT!!!!! =D Kristen Stewart seems perfect for Bella & Robert Pattinson is CUTE!!! I actually thought that "Edward" would be hotter but whatever...& I totally want to see Taylor Lautner as Jacob!!!!! & its kinda weird that the blond guy with the ponytail that plays James reminds me of my buddy Jake...just by the way he looks...wow Im a dork! Lol =)
