Sag Awards

SAG Awards Winners 2010

The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards were nearly a repeat of this year's Golden Globe Awards, with top film honors going to lead actors Jeff Bridges ('Crazy Heart') and Sandra Bullock ('The Blind Side') and supporting players Christoph Waltz ('Inglourious Basterds') and Mo'Nique ('Precious: Based On The Novel 'Push' by Sapphire').

It was the first SAG Award for each, but hardly their first win this awards season, making all four a near-lock for the Oscars. (Nominations for the Academy Awards will be announced Feb. 2.) The "Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture" award went to 'Inglourious Basterds,' over such competition as 'The Hurt Locker' and 'Nine.' 'Avatar,' 2009's biggest moneymaker, was not nominated.

In the TV arena, '30 Rock's Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin won for their lead roles, with Fey referencing NBC's post-late-night-shuffle by pointedly thanking the network: "We are very happy with everything and happy to be there." The award for ensemble in a comedy series, however, went to fledgling 'Glee.' Michael C. Hall repeated his Globes win for 'Dexter,' as did a very nervous Drew Barrymore, who stuttered her way through her acceptance speech for her role in the miniseries 'Grey Gardens.' Julianna Marguiles picked up her first post-'ER' SAG Award for 'The Good Wife' and 'Mad Men' won the ensemble drama award.

Read on for the full list of winners.

Sigourney Weaver, Justin Timberlake Join SAG Presenters

The Screen Actors Guild today announced 10 more presenters for the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which will be broadcast live on TBS and TNT on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Justin Timberlake, Sigourney Weaver, Kyra Sedgwick, Ray Romano, Jeremy Renner, Carey Mulligan, Anthony Mackie, Anna Kendrick, Felicity Huffman and Brian Geraghty will join previously announced presenters Alec Baldwin, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Anna Paquin, Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep.

And the Oscar Buzz Goes To ... Jeremy Renner for 'The Hurt Locker'

If you've seen Jeremy Renner's work, it probably wasn't on a date night.

His big break came playing the title role in 2002's 'Dahmer' (yes, that Dahmer). More recently, he was the singing member of the James' Gang in the lengthy-but-worth-it 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.' And he's now enjoying serious Oscar buzz for his lead performance in the tense Iraq war drama 'The Hurt Locker.'

What's Hot on Inside TV: 'The Freshman' TV Series, SAG Award Noms, 'Chuck' Marathon, 'Full House' Feud

Are you patiently waiting for 'Nine' to come out in theaters? Well, we at AOL TV ask you not to wait another moment to check out nine hot things happening in the world of InsideTV! We promise this list will be Tiger-less.

Movies that suck go straight to DVD. Where do unwatched television episodes go to die? For CW's 'A Beautiful Life,' that place is YouTube.

Where do great movies go to live on? If the movie is Marlon Brando's 'The Freshman,' it's born again as a new series on USA.

SAG Award Nominees Include 'Inglourious Basterds,' 'Hurt Locker,' 'Precious'

While some of the nominees in the Theatrical Motion Pictures category for January's 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® followed conventional Hollywood wisdom ('Invictus,' 'The Blind Side'), there were some surprises.

The most notable were for Quentin Tarantino's violent epic 'Inglourious Basterds,' Kathryn Bigelow's Iraq war drama 'The Hurt Locker' and the gritty, inner city coming-of-age tale 'Precious: Based On The Novel 'Push' By Sapphire.' Even a few members of the press made quiet cheers or audible gasps of (pleased) surprise at those announcements.

The nominees were announced this morning at a press conference in Los Angeles by Chris O'Donnell and Michelle Monaghan. The Actor® Awards Ceremony will air live on Sat., Jan. 23, 2010, on TNT and TBS at 8PM ET.

The Dark Knight'Dark Knight' sequel may see daylight in 2011, 'Charlie's Angels III' is in the works and more ...

So what if there's no script or even a definitive story locked down for the follow-up to this summer's 'Dark Knight'? One of the film's producers says that we'll see the Caped Crusader back on the screen in 2011.

Meanwhile, the sexy secret agents of 'Charlie's Angels' are gearing up for a third round of big-screen butt-kicking; Mickey Rourke is eying a real-life throw-down with Chris Jericho in 'Wrestlemania 25'; and 'Slumdog Millionaire' scores big at the SAG Awards.

Tim RobbinsTim Robbins (possibly) joins 'Iron Man 2,' 'Doubt' is undoubtedly SAG's fave and 'Sinbad' sets sail for the big screen ...

Sources say that Tim Robbins has been tapped to play Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) father in the upcoming 'Iron Man 2' -- and it actually seems like a pretty good fit.

Meanwhile, Doubt leads the pack of Screen Actors Guild nominees with five nods, including best cast; and the director of 'Hairspray' is set to steer a flick about legendary pirate 'Sinbad' to the big screen.
